• Your requested trip dates.

• Your driving licence details (collected closer to your hire date for insurance validation).

We process your personal information under the legal basis of Contractual Necessity and Legal Obligation. We use it to:

• Answer your initial campervan hire enquiries.

• Process your booking and manage your rental contract.

• Verify your identity and driving record to satisfy our insurance provider.

• Comply with UK tax laws.

We never sell your data or use it for automated marketing newsletters.

4. How Long We Keep Your Data

We only keep your data for as long as necessary:

• Enquiries that do not lead to a booking: Deleted within 6 months.

• Successful bookings and rental contracts: Retained for 6 years following the end of the tax year, as required by UK HMRC tax law.

• Google Workspace (Google Sites & Google Forms): To host our site and collect booking inquiries securely.

• Google Gmail: To communicate with you regarding your booking.

• Monzo Bank: To handle booking payments securely. We do not store your financial details.

We protect your data with strong passwords and two-factor authentication across all digital accounts. Any physical paper records (such as rental agreements or driving licence copies at pickup) are securely locked away and shredded as soon as they are no longer legally required.
